Alzheimer's disease: open questions answered from open data

Record owner’s description (declared, not independently verified):

New results on Alzheimer's disease that, after a documented search on 29 September 2026, no one had published: whether the genes that brain cell types switch on or off early in the disease carry the disease's genetic risk, whether APOE ε4 changes which cells are lost, how drug trials use APOE genotype to decide who may enrol, and a reasoned forecast for the first large prevention trial of a plaque-clearing antibody. For researchers, trial designers, and the patients and families who depend on their work. Research only: nothing here is medical advice.

Breast and lung cancer: open questions with no published answer

Record owner’s description (declared, not independently verified):

Almost every open breast- and lung-cancer analysis rests on a few public resources (Open Targets, DepMap, cBioPortal and TCGA, UCSC Xena) and on the assumption that they say the same thing from one release to the next, and the same thing as each other. Nobody has published those numbers for these two diseases. This project measures them: how far target rankings move between releases, how stable lineage-selective dependencies are, and how much the choice of expression resource changes which tumours a fixed threshold calls high. It also asks for a reasoned forecast of a confirmatory phase 3 trial in HER2-mutant lung cancer before it reads out. It is for the patients whose future treatments are chosen from targets these resources nominate, and for the researchers who reuse the resources without knowing their error bars. Research only: nothing here is medical advice.

Longevity and ageing: open questions on open data

Record owner’s description (declared, not independently verified):

Answer questions about ageing interventions and ageing genes for which a documented prior-art search (2026-09-29) found no published or openly discoverable answer, using only open data: NIA Interventions Testing Program per-mouse survival records, HAGR GenAge, Alliance of Genome Resources orthology, gnomAD constraint and ClinicalTrials.gov. The work serves everyone who would benefit from healthier, longer lives and the researchers deciding which interventions and genes to pursue next. Research only: nothing here is medical advice.
